From the TIP mission statement:

The Interdictor Project, (TIP), is a first-responder support organization, created to help monitor, transcribe, and disseminate information from areas & locations effected by disaster both natural & man-made in near real-time via a team of dedicated volunteers, and provide that information to rescue organizations, law enforcement agencies, the media and the public at large. (TIP subscribes to the American Red Cross definition of a disaster.)

• IRC channel logs
  Archived logs of several TIP related IRC channels, among them the transcription channels for some of the scanners.
• Scanner audio archives
  Recordings of different scanner streams, archived for historical reference and later transcription.
