otaku42.de: TIP scanner stream archives

Here you´ll find audio captures of several scanner audio streams which are related to the nola-intel project.

Date and time are based on the GMT timezone.

News

1. Roman Shakin and I set up a plan about long-term archival of the archive. This archive will be an intermediate buffer, holding recordings worth for about one week. The recordings will be pushed to rshakin´s FTP server, which provides a 1-month-buffer. All recordings will additionally be backed up on DVD by Roman, so contact him (by e-mail or by phone @ 1 707 360-7773) if you need access to older stuff.
2. I´m going to stop splitting the combined stream of scanners 1 and 2 to two distinct recordings today, in order to save space for archiving other feeds. If you're interested in how that splitting was done, I can hand out the necessary information and even the script that I used for that task.

Background

Since the project is short of volunteers, we started to record scanner audio feeds with the help of Streamripper. This way it is possible to transcribe the communication at a later time.
